We’ve been sharing astronomy across San Luis Obispo County since 1979, welcoming everyone from first-time stargazers to experienced observers, students, families, and professionals.
Membership is simple, affordable, and gives you a community of people to observe, learn, and explore with.
Why Join CCAS?

Membership Cost
- $20 per year for individuals and families
- $15 per year for students and seniors
Membership runs for one year. Choose either a one-time membership or automatic annual renewal.

One payment for one year. No automatic renewal.
Paying with a Credit Card
You do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit card. If PayPal first asks you to log in, look for an option such as Pay with Debit or Credit Card or Try another way.
Other Ways to Join or Renew
- Venmo: Send payment to @CentralCoastAstronomy and include your name in the notes.
- At a club meeting: Pay by cash or check.
After joining, you’ll be taken to a Thank You page with information to help you get started with your membership.
