In March of 2021, board member Tom Frey recorded a video of his binocular chair, also called a “Couch Potato Telescope”. Since then, that video has been viewed over 1,000 times and people have been asking for the plans to build one of their own.
The original design for this chair is from Sim Picheloup in Houston, Texas, but his website is no longer working.
I recently contacted the Texas Astronomical Society and they were kind enough to send me the original plans!
